When and why did you start drumming?
It was in 2006 I met Drummers in Exile with my friends Pancho & Asia, after receiving as a present my first bongos from Roman’s Mom. I think that’s how I started playing drums. Years after I met Pato Irie, and that’s was when everything change for better. Also there I met great people who until this day are part of my life, some of them are here in TDot Batu. 😀

Do you sing or play other instruments?
Yes I like to sing, as also part of our beautiful musical Familia world these days we have “TDot Sound Crew” is a fusion of different Afro Latino American music like Hip Hop ,Reggae, Cumbia, Ragamuffin, Samba Reggae. And also we have our Hip Hop Reggae Music project “Antidoto Reverde” with [ Lepo Rancio, La Flakah, Pato Irie, Yodub]

What’s your favourite memory of drumming?
Our first “Muhtadi International Drumming Festival 2013″ undoubtedly one of the greatest moments of excitement, joy and much more… 1Love!

What inspired you to join TDot Batu?
My good friend, mi hermanito “Pato Irie” after nights, evenings, hours to discuss his ideas, one day we decided to create TDot Batu, I remember like it was yesterday, in the kitchen, seating on the table at my house next to Billy, 3 of us talking… that’s how it happened! 😀

What advice would you give to beginners?
A
lways look and follow to who teaches and leads the band, the rest would follow your heart and go with the magic of the beats.

What are you listening to lately?
I like listening to music, it depends on the occasion. but it is always good a good reggae music.

What’s your favorite place in the TDot?
Toronto Island “Pancho Beach”
